I love food. I mean, who doesn’t? You need to eat it to survive. Plus, there are so many terrific ways to prepare it. After all, you eat with your eyes first. So there’s no reason your food shouldn’t look as good as it tastes. I’ve always enjoyed going through different recipes for the Halloween season and trying new ways to both prepare and display them. Saw these posted on a blog recently and instantly began thinking of what ghoulish entrée I could create with them. They’re called Fiddlehead Ferns (wiki). I’ve never seen them at the local grocery store or farmer’s market so I think they’re hard to come by. Learn more about them here and on wikipedia. Roasted centipede anyone?
