It’s Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus

One of my all-time favorite Halloween movies has always been Kenny Ortega’s Hocus Pocus. I feel it captures the perfect image of what Halloween is to me. From the thought of seeing something sweep across the moon on a chilly October night to the sight of a fog covered graveyard through the towering old wrought-iron gate, the movie continues to inspire me.

I love the feel of this movie as well. The costumes are amazing too.

me too! i love this movie. i’m 37 and i don’t have kids but i watch this one at least once a year. i even had to upgrade from my old vhs copy to dvd.

Ah, yes! Definitely a classic, and a perfect embodiment of Halloween. I’m still trying to get my hands on a copy of the song that Sarah Winifred sings to lure children. It’s so creepy and gorgeous at the same time.
